Dandori Academy Guide: Practice, Exams and the 72-Stage Plan
Understand Dandori Academy practice, weekend exams, retry tickets and the staged 72-course rollout before planning your first scored attempt.
FAQ
Are all 72 courses available at launch?
Does a practice result count as an exam result?
What is available now, and what is still planned?
Nintendo has announced 72 stages delivered in twelve releases of six. That is a publication plan, not 72 currently playable courses. Our Academy database contains the two verified English demo names and leaves unverified course identities unfilled. It does not create fictional stage names to make the catalog look complete.
The full edition is scheduled for 12 November 2026. Availability on this page was checked on 3 November 2026; a future date passing does not automatically verify that every region’s eShop or course is live.
How are practice and exams different?
Practice is for learning and comparing attempts. Exams are scored sessions with a schedule: normally Friday, Saturday and Sunday, plus an announced special opening on Thursday, November 12. A practice completion should not be described as an exam completion. That distinction also matters for official linked campaigns.
Use practice to learn a repeatable opening, identify one bottleneck and test a change. The Dandori strategy guide supplies a log format without pretending that a generic plan is an optimal stage route.
How do retry tickets and medals work?
Nintendo describes a monthly retry ticket and additional tickets earned through practice: one per five practices, capped at five practice-earned tickets per month. A retry can improve a scored result. Read the in-game availability and conditions before using one; do not assume a practice run has consumed or replaced an exam attempt.
Results account for collection and remaining time. Exact thresholds for individual courses have not been verified here, so the database displays them as unverified. It does not award a simulated official medal from guessed numbers. Nintendo also says Platinum and higher medals give the same Dandori Points.
Can you revisit old courses?
Nintendo’s detailed page says previously released courses remain available and that practice and exams continue after the distribution year. You therefore do not need to describe the monthly plan as a one-time chance to ever play a course. Online leaderboards require Nintendo Switch Online; do not confuse that requirement with every offline practice activity.
What should you do before your first exam?
Check the course name and displayed rules, practice an opening you can repeat, and record your own score without relabeling it as an exam result. Confirm the current exam session in-game. If microphone commands are part of your intended setup, remember that they are unavailable in the demo. The edition guide and voice guide explain those product boundaries.
